Ingredients
- 2 pounds of headless raw shrimp
- 1 package of Cajun Land BBQ Shrimp Sauce Mix
- 3 sticks of butter
- 8 envelopes of Quaker Instant grits
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cups of boiling water (more or less to desired texture)
- Cajun Land Cajun Seasoning with Green Onion
Directions
- Melt 3 sticks of butter in saucepan
- Add 1 pouch of Cajun Land BBQ Shrimp Sauce Mix to melted butter, stir well
- Place 2 pounds of headless raw shrimp in baking dish
- Pour butter & seasoning mixture over shrimp, stir well *
- Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until shrimp are pink and fully cooked
- Place 8 envelopes of instant grits and cheddar cheese in large bowl and add 4 cups of boiling water, stir until smooth and of desired texture
- Plate grits in center of 4 plates and place BBQ shrimp on top of grits
- Place several additional spoons of sauce over the shrimp & grits
- Lightly sprinkle some Cajun Land Cajun Seasoning with Green Onion over the grits for some added flavor

*NOTE: For optimum flavor, ensure the butter & seasoning mixture completely covers all the shrimp
LAGNIAPPE: Sprinkle pieces of cooked bacon for an added burst of flavor!
